River City Bangkok teams up with Pagoda the Art Club to proudly present the debut solo exhibition of Jarinee Mateekul, fondly known as, “Lung Ple” (Uncle Ple), the artist who portrays the uncomplicated narratives of sheer, unadulterated happiness that every one of us inherently embodies as ‘owners of happiness’. It’s as simple as adding your own name into the word ‘happiness’.

In this exhibition, Lung Ple invites everyone to share their own uncomplicated joy. Whether it’s indulging in ice cream, sipping wine, sitting quietly, lying down, putting on makeup, arranging flowers, brewing coffee, or gossiping – any joy that brings comfort and ease to your heart. 

Because, as Lung Ple expresses in this exhibition,

“Sorrow is prohibited, for happiness lies in the simplest of things”.
